Natalie will forever be my hero. My own personal rock star. My … oh, whatever. I can’t even gush adequately enough. She knew I was having so much fun moving that she was crazy kind enough to offer to help. Never one to pass up a good deal, and knowing that she has a minivan with a ton-o-room, I took her up on it. She came over twice yesterday to help. Twice! Once while the kids were at school, and later last night after she put them to bed. I thought Mike was going to cry when he saw how large the van was and how easy it was to load it up! If she ever needs anything, I am *SO* there!
So now the apartment is almost empty. There is trash to haul to the dumpster and a few items left in the fridge that I need to clear out. (Maybe two shopping bags worth, nothing major.) I need to give a good Windex shine to everything before I turn in the keys.
Then it’s over.
I feel like I am finishing the process of closing one chapter of my life and moving on to better things. It’s a good feeling…

Good to hear that progress is at hand.
Two apartment thoughts – Don’t you get a really wierd feeling when everything is gone from the rooms? Doesn’t it strike you that the apartment is a lot bigger when it’s empty?
I know the second one sounds dumb (and maybe it is a little bit), but I can remember when we moved out a few years back. I just kept thinking, “Man, it sure seems like there’s a lot more room in here.”
Congratulations! Have fun decorating and picking your paint colors and all. I totally LOVE that stuff (being a huge Trading Spaces/Changing Rooms junkie)! 🙂
Wheee! Congratulations!
