In my never ending quest to find my Christmas spirit, I’m going to bake Christmas cookies. First on my list? I want to make some Snickerdoodles. I found Emeril’s recipe for Snickerdoodles, along with this one and this one, but I’m looking for others. Anyone care to share?
I also found these yummy sounding Christmas Cut-Out Cookies.
What do you say? Anyone care to swap recipes? What are your favorite holiday treats? What goodies say Christmas to you? Post them here or share them on your site and do a trackback – I’ll do the same as soon as I can find the recipes in my cookie box – and we’ll all have a virtual cookie swap!

I highly recommend Mamie Eisenhower’s Million Dollar Fudge – it’s easy, and really good. Warning, it makes a lot.
Hmm I don’t have any good recipes to share, but I’d be really interested if you wound up trying all those Snickerdoodle recipes and let us know which ones you liked best! The ingredients are all different so I’m sure they are subtly different.
My chocolate chip cookies get a lot of positive feedback. It’s the basic receipe, but with double vanilla and high-quality ingredients like raw sugar, real butter and Hershey’s chocolate chips. The resulting cookies are tender, tasty and oh-so-decadent!
Buckeye Goodies. The only thing I enjoyed about Christmases in Ohio. They’re basically Reese’s cups in a ball shape. But I don’t have a recipe, since I don’t cook anything (my mother-in-law made the ones I ate).
Liz just made some pinwheels with peppermint and chocolate. They are delish. I’ll get the recipe from her and post it.
Now Christine you know that I am a snickerdoodle addict…your recipe should be the one with cream of tartar. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I usually make candy for Christmas, but tried biscotti this year. I’ve made three practice runs, and they’re all gone. So I better get cooking.
WHEEEE!!! Sandi’s snickerdoodles are the BEST. And I was thinking the same thing – cream of tartar makes the difference, so that was the one I was going to pick first!
oh, yum. My friend just made me a huge tin of Christmas cookies and I’ve done quite a lot of indulging. 🙂
Thanks for the link for snickerdoodles. I’m a snickerdoodle addict. Tomorrrow I’m making GIANT ones.
WHAT ABOUT THE RECIPES!?!?
Where is Mamie Eisenhower fudge receipe?
Is that a trick question, Linda? If it isn’t at the link above, then maybe look on Google for it? I don’t know where it is, since I’m not responsible for the whole internet…
Pure rudeness
Help- I need, quickly!, a receipe for a giant snickerdoodle cookie…….
