We’ve been having problems with the Mac here at the office and it took about an hour just to get it on the network. This brought up Gianni Jacklone and Ellen Feiss of the Apple Switch Ad fame – but after we watched their ads we had to take a moment to watch the best parody one ever. “My Dad used to beat me with his PC.”
On a totally unrelated note, I made an excursion to Wal-Mart today for lunch. I’m now the proud owner of the Special Extended DVD Edition of Lord of the Rings which was just released today. I also got some comfy satiny pajama pants and some really cute socks. Credit for the cute socks goes to Bran – she was my inspiration. Now I just have to go to Old Navy to get some cute ones like the ones on the far left in her photo!

$28.84 at Wal-Mart. It’s cheaper at Amazon, but there is shipping and you have to wait – and I couldn’t. So I bought the copy at the store!
OH! And you get a coupon to see “The Two Towers” for free in December! So that’s $7 back right there!

EXACTLY! This is the extended version with the extra 30 minutes of footage – I have the “theater version” too, so I could loan that one out to people that need to get caught up.
How about Harry Potter? I think we should go see that one on Friday!
Uh uh uh uh … but I want MY COPY NOW! (Veruca Salt style) I ordered mine from Amazon because, well, I’m cheap. And I don’t like any of the nearby DVD retailers… And, uhh, I didn’t realize how badly I wanted to see the movie. Come Thursday, I’m curling up in my room for hours on end to soak it all in. 🙂
