Something to Think About…

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain

Just a little something to think about… No one ever lies on their death bed saying they wish they had worked more hours or made more money. It is wishes for more time with family and friends, places left unseen that normally come to mind. What will you be left wishing for? Why haven’t you done it yet?

I am always saying things like this, but I’ve never seen this quote before, thanks! There are so many people who think that their lives are stuck in the lane that they have chosen on the highway. You couldn’t be any farther from the truth. Get out there and try something, anything. Failure is just sitting there doing nothing!

Another favorite quote of mine is “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.” – George Eliot

What’s funny is that I *have* seen this quote! In Suitcase, the font management program, you’re allowed to view a sample paragraph of type for each font. And this quote is the paragraph the program uses.

I love the quote as I do with most Twain quotes. But does it not seem like he is the most quoted figure in history. I wonder if he had people following him around writing down the profound prose that we rolling off his tongue? It seems like everything that came out of that mans mouth was a quotable quote.

But I do love Samuel. And Iā€™m from Missouri so I have to give props to my fellow show me boy.
