Speechless…

Aerial view of the WTC site … this makes me sick to my stomach. Not sure if it’s the angle of the view (I feel like I am upside down looking at it…) or if it’s the photo itself. Probably both. It just leaves me speechless. I watched the special episode of “Third Watch” on Monday, where they were interviewing firefighters, policeman, and paramedics who were there on September 11th – it was chilling to hear their stories, but I lost it when they started to interview the wives whose husbands they haven’t found. And how one of the children still thinks his Daddy is coming home any day… sad. So, so sad. (Thanks to Laura for the link to the photo.)

Speechless…

Oh my God. There are no words. I am still stunned… I wonder what the next few days will hold for us. Downtown Houston has been evacuated. I am still at work (not in downtown) but I am too stunned to think.

This will effect the world as we know it. What a day. My prayers go out to everyone…

Everyone says Jack is going to be deployed. He’s scheduled to go to drill on Friday, I wonder how this will change things. He might leave Friday morning and not come back for 6 months. Or he might not leave at all. The lack of information is killing me. I hope it’s over. God Bless the thousands and thousands of those directly affected by this act of terrorism.
