Fortunately, the wrath of Fay was minor compared to the onslaught of Allison last year. We’ve had a lot of wind and rain, but nothing too bad. No flooding on this side of town, so moving the car wasn’t really necessary at all. Better safe then sorry though, right?

I think the original Allison onslaught sounds fascinating. You could write about them as if they really were women and not storms and describe all the inconveniences and worries they caused.
You could always bring up a news topic. Y’all are all adults over there, why not argue about some topics that are beyond the scatalogical. AND, we can ask any topic you’re interested in talking about in the mboards if you want. That way you don’t necessarily have to introduce the subject.
