It has finally hit. The week full of tests. I had a quiz today in Chemistry over stoichiometry, which I must admit that I love. Love, love, love it. I could play with Avagadro’s number and balance equations all day long. It sounds silly, I know. But really, it is fun figuring out how many grams of an element are in a mol of a molecule. Trust me.
Tomorrow Thursday is finally my first Algebra test (it was postponed due to Hurricane Rita), and I don’t have quite as much love for Algebra. I have a 100 right now in the class between homework and quiz grades though, so I’m off to a good start. She said in class last week that the test would be tomorrow, but then I noticed that her online calendar had Thursday down for the date. I e-mailed her, and she wrote back right away to confirm that it is on Thursday. That causes me some stress because I then have two tests back to back in one day. Ugh.
Thursday is also my first Biology test. It is over 8 chapters; I need to reread at least the last 2-3 chapters beforehand. I also have to finish the lab from last week. I have a 100 in there so far with the lab work we have done, but I’m worried about the test. 50 questions on a scantron (multiple choice, true/false, etc.) and then an essay question. I’m normally great at essay questions, but come on – 8 chapters? It could be over anything, really! I really wish we had tests more frequently so I had some idea of what might be on it.
It is going to be a fun week. Please excuse me while I go back to my books!
