The Bee…

“Aerodynamically the bumble bee shouldn’t be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn’t know it, so it goes on flying anyway.”
— Mary Kay Ash

I’ve been a busy little bee around here, working on the … *drumroll please* …

New! Wedding photography website! Whee!

(Music warning. Music will play when you enter the Christine Tremoulet website. Turn your speakers down if you don’t want to hear it, or turn them on if you do.)

Fresh Photography is staying right where it is at, it isn’t going anywhere – this is just a chance for me to show off my wedding & portrait work and to easily get information to clients. The Fresh Photography site will be more focused on the art prints that we sell. I think the whole thing will make it easier for clients to navigate – and I’ve been mentally debating this for 4-5 months now. Feel free to share any feedback or comments you might have!

I saw the site over the weekend when you showed the logo idea at Flickr. I love the site. It’s so clean and fresh! (love the quote from MK as well!) I’ve been watching you and Robyn with your photography… I hope I can follow in both your footsteps at the same time!!

Looks awesome! Can I make two tiny little suggestions?

First, can you make the “loading” part after I click on Weddings & Portraits on your new site stand out a bit more? I like the colors, but the “loading” was so faint I didn’t see it at first and thought the page was broken!

Second, can you slow the photos down in the slideshows? I want to spend more time looking at your great photos and they change too fast! 🙂

@Geeky – thanks for both of the suggestions! The logo? Not sure what it is in the template that is making it so dark, but I also can’t find where to change it. It is on my to-do list though!

The slideshows – I used a template that came along with the software, and so it has some zippy parts. In the future, I’ll be making my own templates to go along with different music, so they will be much slower – I promise! (It annoyed me too!) You can actually select a “gallery” view though and go through the photos one at a time, it is in the slideshow navigation at the bottom.
