The First Blog…

Thanks to Internet Archive, I was able to find the very first version of my blog, “To Make a Short Story Long…”! I can’t find the old Blogger account, so I’ll slowly add in the posts one at a time to make this blog complete with all of my posts every written. I feel so whole now! One in the zen of my blogging experience…

that is soooo neat!!! i have all my entries already archived on my hard drive because i never used any CMs program… i’ve had an on-line journal since Sept. 1998. at that time, i only wrote about 1 entry a day… for at least 2 years… then when Blogger came long, i wrote more… and then Greymatter… more… and now pMachine… more!!! wow, i wonder how much i do have… that would be neat to calculate…

I’d pay MONEY to get a copy of the first web page I ever created. It was back in 1995, and it had a funny picture of me and Sam and our ferrerts (we had ferrets back then). I thought I was so cool because I got the background to look like “notepaper” with the ruled lines and everything. ROFL!! I probably even had blinking text on it. But alas – that page is gone forever – it doesn’t seem to be in those archives…

One question/rant – why the hell am I blocked from that web.archive site by my company??? WTF?! They freakin’ piss me off!!!

Isn’t it exciting to have everything? I think that with the exception of a month of hand-coding between greymatter crashes, I have everything else in. I’ll have to get that July stuff put in at some point 🙂
And thanks for reminding me about the Internet Archive… there’s a few sites I’ve designed that I don’t have screen caps and so I’ll have to go and see if I can find anything left 🙂

I burned my old blog and never saved any archives… well, apart from the seriously funny posts.

I keep hoping to find some fanatic who saved all my old Bulletproof Punk posts and reads them religiously now and again…

…but at the rate I’m going I’ll be lucky to find someone who remembers how to spell Acreiba.
