The Rockin’ New Year…

Jason and I had a lot of fun last night. We ate lasagna, watched Shrek, had fireworks, watched other people’s fireworks (from the nearby neighborhood shooting them up in the air) and watched the ball drop in Times Square on TV. As I mentioned last night, we watched more of the “Rockin’ New Year” show (where I saw Barry Manilow in the time machine!) and then it was champagne poppers (those streamer things) and sparklers at midnight here in Houston. We slept in a little late this morning and had a tasty breakfast. Just finished watching Chicken Run and soon I am sure the Playstation will be up and running. Later some Junior Trivial Pursuit is in order I think, and I’m not sure what else we’ll do. The Christmas tree may come down later today so we don’t have to do it later this week – but I’m leaving the rest of the decorations up until Epiphany.
