The show yesterday went so well! It was just really great to get out there and to have other people see our work. The cold seemed to keep some people away, and some vendors told me that this month was quieter for them then it has been in the past. It was still fun, and I think our photographs were really well-received.
Friday was a loooong day, and we didn’t get much sleep at all. We were there to set up by 8:20 in the morning, opened at 10:00, and broke the booth down after 6:30 or so. I picked up Jason, came home, ate dinner, and promptly crashed before 10:00 pm. I woke up, wide awake, at 4:02 this morning. I could not get back to sleep because I laid in bed and kept running over in my mind how well everything went. I can’t wait for next month!
As an added perk, it was so great to get to see so many people! At one point we had our own little Flickr Mixr right at our booth even. It was so fabulous. I really, really appreciate everyone who was able to come out and see us, it really made the day even more special.
I’m rambling because I’m so giddy, and my hand is hurting as I have probably done way too much with it this weekend. Time to stop typing, so I will share more tales from today later on. Elaine took photos too, so I will post them when I can get them from her.

It was a real pleasure meeting you — and everybody else! — at the art market. Your booth was first-class awesome, and your photos — wow!
You sound positively giddy! I’m happy for you, Christine.
Ya’ll did great and we were glad we could see your booth and get a photo in the process. Congrats!
Congrats!!
I’m so glad the show went well! I hope you do even better next month!
Hey Christine, thanks so much for recommending that we visit the Market! It was really nice to see you again, and the market was neat. I wish I could have spent more time in your booth, but by the time we returned, Livi was nearing meltdown. Turns out, she’s a little sick and has been running a fever since yesterday. 🙁
Ah well, she loves the “ahfly” photo we did manage to get for her. Now, to find a frame for it.
Congrats on the show! By the way, 45 degrees is so not cold!

Christine!
It was a real pleasure to meet you and Elaine Saturday! I told you that I followed y’all in your blogs all the way to the show, so I am very happy to read how well it went for you two and how much fun you had.
I’ll be keeping an eye out for those photos!
Happy New Year!
Mitch
