After our 4 hour client meeting this morning, Kymberlie and I headed out to get some lunch. After we ate we went to Wal-Mart to see if they had any pretty flowers for sale (they didn’t today) and to get me some anti-itch cream for the 20+ mosquito bites on my right foot alone. Yes, mosquito bites – Friday night I sat out on the boss’s patio at his house talking with Liz and the mosquitos were just eating me alive while I watched. I couldn’t swat them away fast enough. So now my right foot itches, along with my left thigh where the rest of the bites are. While looking at the selection ointments & creams that would help ease my pain, I noticed the “Udder Balm” on the top shelf. No problem, I’ve seen that and “Bag Balm” for years. I did however comment to Kymberlie that there were at least 100 jokes that could be made about the “Crack Cream”. Other then my observation, I decided not to go there – but it sure was tempting.
By the way, I highly recommend the Benadryl Itch Stopping Cream in the Extra Strength 2% formula. It has helped a lot this afternoon.

Go to the doctor and get some quartizone cream, pretty much stops it instantly. I used to get a rash on my inner thighs caused by heat (sitting in front of heaters in winter) and it was the only thing that would calm it down. It works great for mozzie bites.
The exact same thing happened to me to me a couple of years ago while vacationing in Maine. It was insane. One minute I’m sitting outside with everyone else having a great time, the next, I look down and the little buggers are swarming all around my ankles!! For almost a week afterwards it was, scratch, apply, scratch, apply, whine, apply ice for swelling… on and on. I’ll remember the Benadryl Itch Stopping Cream the next time I visit Maine!
Tee hee. My brother has some of that Crack Cream sitting on the desk at work (for his hands), but I can’t help but giggle when I see it. What am I, 13? 😉
Come on now, you live in the South! Get it right. Say it with me….”we went to the Wal-Marts.”
The store is always preceded by a “the” and is always plural.
