Warming Up!

Whoo hoo! Temps today will be in the 40s and 50s instead of the 20s and 30s! Yeah!!! (Hey, it’s the little things when your furnace doesn’t work.)

I hear that. We don’t have a heater attached to the new AC my landman had to buy over the summer so I have to use electric floor heaters. They work ok but I’m so glad it’s a tad bit warmer today. I think I need two of them though. I just have the one and it’s doing alright but I need one for my room and one in the main part of the house. Brr baby, my room is so cold.

The 20’s and 30’s are only at night. It is warmer than that during the day. At least now! Very seldom is it 20 here during any winter day.

I’m glad it’s not colder with all that rain and drizzle, eww! He lit a fire the one night we were supposed to freeze (but didn’t, but I hear the North side froze a little). I have no idea why the former owners thought they needed a fireplace, but I did make it through one cold snap w/o heat five years with just the fireplace (hubby was fiance at the time, and pulling 12 12’s across town…once he rested up from those, he fixed the central heat…whew).

BUT, did the mini almost-freeze get you in the Christmas spirit?

20’s and 30’s … that’s a heat wave during the winter around here … LOL. But that’s what I get for living in ND. It actually hasn’t been THAT bad up here yet. I just don’t like the rollercoaster of warm temps then back to cold temps to warm to frigid. Guess I need to move south … LOL.
