The other day, Janet shared a link to a thought provoking post by Danny Gregory. I meant to read it, but I was too busy at the moment and there was too much going on around me – I couldn’t spend time focusing on something that long right then. So I opened it in a new tab and moved on.
I just read it. I’m about to head out for my photo day with Elaine, and it couldn’t have been more perfect timing. If you are a creative sort – no matter what you do, if you sew, draw, knit, work with clay, scrapbook, design webpages, do a podcast, or whatever your creative juices may take you – go and read it too.
. . . you should relax and do what you want. Stop caring so much about externals. Make what you like in the way that you do.
Those are some of the wisest words you could ever listen to; they are much wiser than the ones that contradict them in your head.
CREATE.

Ok, Christine. Not only do you make me laugh, you make me think.
See . . . I knew that most of my readers (and favorite bloggers) would pick up on the final words of Danny’s (and that was TRULY the most important part!)
I can’t wait to see what your photo day produced!
