I was going to move. But the other server couldn’t handle indexing my giant greymatter archives. Hm. So for the moment they say they have this server problem resolved, and I will give it one last chance. Yes, I am too forgiving. For the moment, I am not moving. I am moving to the new (or is it the old?) server at VeoWeb. Scary, very scary – because I hate moving Greymatter. Have to chmod everything, make sure the files are set up right, etc. Oy.

I am very impressed with Lee’s hard work at self improvement. This year has been an odd year for me. I am stronger than ever as far as self-esteem goes, but in getting there I have ignored other things. I guess I had to just tell myself that looks didn’t matter, I didn’t have to force myself to be someone to make some man (the Insignificant Other) happy. So I have done a pretty good job of shaking off that bad relationship, and I feel so much better for it – but now I want to lose weight for me. Because, like Lee, I want to live to be old & gray, and considering my family’s history, losing 30-40 pounds would be a big help. Plus I noticed yesterday that one of my favorite skirts was a bit snug … and that sucks. So thanks, Lee, for the inspiration. I may be following in your footsteps soon.
