Things that made my evening good:
– I left work before 7pm.
– I got to catch up on some of the Law & Order episodes on the Tivo with a vinyl cling of the Tivo logo as a thank you for being a loyal supporter. Did you know I am responsible for numerous Tivo purchases? And no, I don’t get a commission. I just LOVE my Tivo. (The vinyl cling has ink from the letter it was mailed with stuck on it. Feedback on how to remove?)
– I got to chat on IM with Mike who is absolutely hilarious. I mean that in the best way.
While many of the things we chatted about will appear here soon (lots of blog fuel there!) I just had to mention something he said. He said,”you’re so nice. I was expecting you to be much different.” It made me laugh and I asked why. (I laughed because I am generally a nice although “pure evil(tm)” person.) I always wonder how people see me on the other end… He said, “I don’t know, some of these folks with popular blogs act all “bloggier than thou”” It was ironic because it is something I have been thinking about. I keep wondering why I get so few comments. So if you have something to say … speak up! Talk back to me! Mike can tell you – I’ll be nice!
Added later… I guess I should add that I was pretty sleepy as I wrote what is above last night, and I didn’t write it to come across as a snob or something … what I really meant is I love it when people leave comments. Even if they are just “me too!” or “I know how you feel!” I notice it happening in other places, but not here. So I wanted to welcome everyone to leave comments. Send me e-mails. IM me.
