Jason is allergic to corn, so it caught my eye when I noticed that the GNC website offers special recipes, including a section dedicated to a corn-free diet. While reading the Baked Macaroni and Cheese recipe, I noticed a note about the salt in the recipe:
Allergy notes: People following a corn-free diet should avoid iodized salt since it contains dextrose, which should be avoided by those allergic to corn.
There is even corn in salt. Goodness. There is no escape from the evil corn!
I am either covered in small strange bug bites, or I have hives. I’m pretty sure they are hives. There are no bumps where a bug would have bitten me, and they are mainly on my torso, with some on my arms. The mosquito bite on my back is different then the rest of them, adding to my hives theory.
Question is – why do I have hives? I haven’t been exposed to anything new, I haven’t eaten anything different, nothing has changed since yesterday. It’s very odd.
It’s either hives, or I’m just getting pink polka dot spots all over! Now where is the Benadryl?

I noticed that there was a free 2 week trial available for Netflix, so we decided to give it a try. Really, how could I resist once I discovered they had Godspell available?
Last Friday, we received The Butterfly Effect. Saturday, we received Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, which some might say is my life story. No, not really – but it was a cute chick flick and fun to watch. Yesterday, Godspell finally arrived in the mail. (It was first in my queue, but being an older movie, I’m sure it had to come from some vault far, far away.)
Movies directly to you – how cool is that? However, it’s pretty expensive – I don’t think we’ll keep it past the trial period. It was just a nice way to finally get to see Godspell! (I checked every video store in Houston, with no luck.)
Good music, good stories, and Victor Garber as Jesus with a giant afro hairstyle. Could you ask for more?
