I am absolutely fascinated by the 10 things we didn’t know this time last week series from the BBC. Wow, this is cool! My favorite from this week?
The waxworks at Madame Tussaud’s are not made of wax at all. The material is too heavy to support its own weight, so only the faces and hands of the famous are cast in beeswax while the bodies are made of fibreglass. A notable exception – and a new addition unveiled in London this week – is Brad Pitt’s bottom, which is made from a foam and silicon mixture to make it squeezably lifelike.
We can squeeze Brad Pitt’s ass at Madame Tussaud’s! Dude! If I wasn’t meeting up with Leia (pronounced Lee-a, not like the princess, in case you ever wondered), Julie, Jason, Mike and PhotoMatt for dinner at 7:30, I would be hopping on a jet for London, just to squeeze Brad Pitt’s ass.
Ok, not really. But I seem to have NOTHING to write about today. Like everyone else, I seem to be “on edge” lately – like I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. Are the planets spinning backwards around their moons again or something?
As an addendum to yesterday’s post, Michelle pointed out that there is a section in her forums just for sharing info about songs heard on commercials. It’s all about sharing the love here at the House of the BPC!
