Not only do I know about that song, but my best friend decided to burn it onto a cd for me years ago. To this day, I still crank it in the car when I need a good laugh… or when I’m trying to traumatize my ‘trekkie’ friends. 😉
I have Spaced Out – The Best of Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner somewhere around here. It has the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins and many other interesting umm, songs. I think it’s still available on Amazon!
When I was a kid, I used to play that song over and over just to piss off my mom. I can still hear her snarls of annoyance mixed with Leonard Nimoy’s off-key drawl…
