What a Day…

I fixed Gnome-Girl’s site today after breaking it last night. Yes, I did a MT upgrade and something went haywire. Next thing I knew neither one of us could log in to her site. Ugh. But after the 3rd reinstall, something finally worked out and now it’s working just like it should. I don’t know, and I won’t question it since it’s working! When that was all fixed, I set up her designs in to skins, so now you have design choices when you visit! Then it was off to set up another site. And more skins.

Now I have to finish up another project for Chris and after that I need to get my stuff together so I can start my new fitness plan bright & early in the morning!

Wow. What a boring post. Oh well, I promise more tomorrow!

Today’s Lesson..

If you’re running MT, go in to MT and back up your blog. Run an export. Now. No, really. Now. Yes, I broke a blog yesterday, and now I have a ton of work ahead to fix it. Do exports – often.

Patch It!

Just released at Microsoft TechNet, browser patch fixes for IE 5.01, 5.5 and 6.0. Thanks to LockerGnome for pointing this out, they say in the Tech Specialist newsletter that “A cumulative patch for Internet Explorer versions 5.01, 5.5 and 6.0 has been issued, including all of the previously released security fixes, along with six freshly announced vulnerabilities. The new flaws can result in all sorts of nasty things happening if you hit a page that has been maliciously coded.” So go patch it up!

Verisign

You’ve probably heard about this already, but I’m joining in the crusade to make sure that the media knows the truth about Verisign and what Verisign has been up to. It’s terrifying to think how Verisign just gave away Hoopla’s domain, right under her. Avoid Verisign, ok? And if you’re wondering what I’m talking about, go read this about Verisign. Thanks.
