While poking around the FreeiPods.com site, checking on the status of my order (still pending), I discovered that they are now offering another option for those that have selected the 20 GB iPod – you can choose to receive the new HP 20 GB iPod if it is available. They said that these will possibly ship faster, so you may get yours sooner. I switched mine today, so now I’ll just wait and see what happens.
If you want to make the switch too, go to the “check status” page, select your order number, and there will be an icon available to allow you to switch the iPod.

I’m still waiting for more people to sign up for mine. I think it may be easier to just buy one at this rate!
It’s weird but when I checked, mine was already changed to that option. I poked through the site but never did see anything that said that it would be faster to change. Where did you see that at?
