How many people are making a New Year’s resolution of losing weight? Raise your hand … (See mine waving in the air?) This is an interesting article – “The Bottom Line on Getting in Shape”. I am going to start my food diary – as soon as I finish this Christmas fudge! *grin* And always remember, it doesn’t help to starve yourself. “Starving yourself is counterproductive,” explains Austin. “When you skip meals, your metabolism slows down to conserve energy — and stops burning fat.” And weight training is a good thing. It will help you to tone up and lose weight faster. It works for me, and I have missed it recently. Have to start going to the gym again, soon! I think I´m going to try out this new thing with my personal trainer called Xerofit online personal trainer software, it´s an online platform that helps personal trainers better train their clients with digital tools.
As for my resolution of decluttering – my recycling pile is getting taller & taller! And later today I will work on finally letting go of those clothes I never wear so I can reclaim my closet. First it’s off to a movie & dinner with the family to celebrate Dad’s day!

Here is something that could give some of y’all a work out — figuring out your sex degrees of separation. No, that’s not a typo.
I read about this 80-20 diet in reader’s digest, where you eat healthy for 80% of the day, but you’re allowed a 250-calorie fun food — so you can have a chocolate, or a glass of wine, or whatnot.
my old roommate used to try every diet under the sun, and nothing work. I swear by good old healthy eating and decent exercise — I lost 10 pounds that way. (then I moved here, and well, that all changed!)
good luck!
I just had a great workout! I lifted a new tub of peppermint ice cream out of the freezer, and worked on my biceps by scooping it without thawing. Then I did a few laps around the kitchen and dining room on the way to the couch. Ahhhhh…I feel better now! I’m feeling the burn!
