For Now, This is It…

Leave me alone, I'm busy.

Like the colors of the design here? I do. I’m all about the pink/black/white combination. I always have been, if you have noticed in any of my past designs. So for now, this one is going to stay. Hopefully the colors are easy for everyone to read. I’ll continue to tweak the sidebar, and eventually I’ll add more pages. But for now – I’m sticking with this design. I have other things I need to do that are higher on my priority list. Spend more time with my family. Take pictures. Go back to school next week. Learn Photoshop. Knit. Learn even more about Photoshop. Clean the house. Study Trig, Biology and Chemistry. Spend even more time with my family. Relax. Enjoy life.

All of which are more important than mucking around with a design that works quite well. I even got it to be wide enough to handle the 500 pixel wide photo above. (After many years, I’m still rather CSS clueless.) When I find my old template (in the correct form) and have time to figure out some things I want to change about it, I will. But for now – stick a fork in me, I’m done!

I think this design is really pretty. I love it’s simplicity and crispness.

I’m so with you on the other priorities bit…that’s why I dropped my personal domains and blog installations for Blogger. I didn’t want the hassle of having to maintain my own personal web site.

The design and colors look awesome! I think I really like simple clean designs. Especially on a blog – it’s so much better than having so much stuff going on you forget to read the posts. 😀

It’s pretty, and I love the color scheme, but — and maybe this is just me and/or my browser — the way it’s currently displaying for me, the body stuff doesn’t start until I scroll alllllllll the way down past everything on the sidebar. Which is weird and unlikely to be the desired effect. In case it *is* just me, I’m using IE6; I’ll check it out at home with Firefox too, and let you know whether or not it’s doing the same thing.

Ahh… I will confess that I didn’t check it with IE 6 when I was tweaking it to make it wide enough to hold that big picture. I bet that is what is sending it all the way down to the bottom of the page. Hm. I’m so CSS clueless, I have no idea how to fix it! (Other than not posting wide images or changing to a different design.)

Oh my desktop computer I see a gray background behind the sidebar that I don’t see on my laptop. It is too wide now, so I have to figure out how to fix that too!
