“My physics teacher said that because every point in the universe is expanding away from every other point at the same rate, there is no center point, or, in all reality, every point is the center. See? There is proof that I am the center of the universe.”

I love this quote too. Every time I go to her site I smile at that. 🙂
no, no, no . . . .
the PurpleMoose is at the center of the universe, right?
oh, wait . . .
Heh big smiles, Christine – thanks for sharing this.

Barbara, we are ALL the center of the universe! (I like that we can all share the title…)
well if every point in the universe is expanding, that explains why my pants don’t fit in the waist so well anymore…
Maybe I’m a) undereducated in the area of Physics, or b) taking this too seriously, but I don’t follow that logic: Because there is no constant center point all points are center points? *scratches head* How’s that work now? Perhaps that’s a question for K.
So a point at the edge is also the centre? No.
Hey, I didn’t make up the logic. I just stole it from my physics teacher. Who is crazy. So yeah. It’s just a joke, not meant to be some hard-core physics.
It’s the type of mad voodoo logic that I love – especially when it comes to the world revolving around me! 😀
