I wrote this great post, all about my Biology class. I had a hissy fit last week, stomping my feet and gnashing my teeth because I thought I was going to make a “C” in the class, and I simply could not accept that. I am capable of making a “B” and I didn’t want to earn a “C” and hurt my GPA.
I had all sorts of details, including how helpful Mike was in making a decision about dropping the class. Then I went to snag the photo of the “Jabba the Hut” frog in another tab, and I must have closed the tab that I was working in – the one with the post. Because it is gone now. Gah!
The main point of the story? I’m not freaking out now. I made an 83.3 on the lab practical and an 86.5 on the unit 3 exam. I have a solid “B” in the class, and with a miracle on the final exam I could possibly bring it up to an “A”. I’m glad I didn’t drop the class after all. Plus, I realized that in the end I really shouldn’t complain about the class, because the reality is that Biology is actually pretty cool. Did you know that some baby sharks will eat their sibblings in utero if their food supply in their egg runs out? See? Biology really is fun!
