you know what the perfect idea for a reality show is?
take one known spammer
insert large crowd of spam victims
throw in a beat down
oh yeah, i would watch!
Watch? I’d be at the front of the queue!!!
But only to defend a ladies honour of course… I’m not some blood-thirsty lunatic… well not since the medication kicked in…
Ugh, I am still getting the occasional bounce from the last round.
Hope you didn’t get slammed too bad.
tortured-artist.com has been getting tons of spam bounces the last week as well. This happens about once or twice a year now…
They didn’t actually use the server, they just list some bogus name in front of the domain in the reply-to and from fields…
Sucks.
Ditto here. All I can do is forward them on to the abuse address of the company that the originating IP belongs to. Whole lot of good that does me!
I’ve been hit about a dozen times so far this year. It really pisses me off because there’s absolutely no way for us, the actual site administrators, to stop the abuse. Of course, if we could find the damn spam people responsible I think Bread might have a little something to say to them. You know, up close and personal-like.
And when he’s done with them I think even I might have a few glass rods and lemon juice for them, too.
Yup, I had that happen once, too. REALLY pisses me off. I hate spammers so much, there are no words.
:X
🙂
Oooooh… I want to see those spammers after Bread gets done with them. I’ll be standing there with a bottle of lemon juice and a container of salt to help with the ending! 😉
whyinthehell would you allow your children to hang with M.J. in the first place, and as for the spam, *delete*delete*delete* I never realized myself that so many people were concerned about my penis size or if I needed to rid myself of debt before I got all their spam informing of it all…
Any chance you didn’t receive an e-mail because of the spammers?
Not sure what you mean, A.J.? As in is it possible that “good” mail isn’t getting through because of the spam? Not likely – as far as I know, everything has come through just fine, along with all of the bounce messages from their spam. *grumble, grumble…*
They suck big fat hairy monkey balls…. *giggle*
That bites. Had that happen too awhile back.
Texas just passed a law on spam and spoofing, so you might want to investigate. If memory serves, it is $10 per violation, and there might be a lot of violations in your case. . . .
