I really like the Arabic definition, because that’s really what I turned out to be.
Anyway, my name is… well, Annessa, and I’m 14. My parents didn’t like Vanessa, so they changed it to Annessa. I’m from the US.
I get tired of all the “Aneesa”s, “Vanessa”s and “Anissa”s that I hear, so I just decided to say whatever and go with it. x3
Quite amazing isn’t it all of us gorgeous women with the same beautiful name.

I beleived my name was made up by my mother, apparently my father liked Vanessa she took off the’V’and add another’N’
Pronounced ‘An-nes-sa’
Makes you wonder were ideas actually come from for so many strangers all around the world with the same idea for a name.
I use to always correct people when they called me Vanessa, I then have to explain where my name came from.
It is cool for people to believe you are unique.
I just tell people to google it now, there are hundreds(:
Pity there are no photos of us here.
It would be interesting to see what we all look like(:
I ask everyone to call me Ness now.
I find it easier, especially at work.
Only family and few friends call me Annessa or Annessa Jane.
