First, a *HUGE* Happy Birthday to Kathy – who won’t see this until tomorrow because she’s out of town … I hope you have a great time with your family this weekend in Austin!
Then it’s off to go camping for me. Jason’s last “Puff Up” Cub Scout camping trip is today. He’s in 5th grade and will be a Boy Scout soon; hard to believe this is the 5th time we have gone on this camp-out. Wow. I am normally pretty excited about camping, but it’s too hot! Why can’t they make an air conditioner for the tent? Oh wait – they do. It’s called an RV. We have loaded up the car and we are outta here! Y’all play nice while we’re gone, ok?

Have fun! I remember being a Cub Scout fairly well, even though I’m sure some of the memories have been repressed. Boy Scouts was a lot more fun though!
oh lucky me, i managed to get out of the girl scout campout this weekend in lieu of the birthday party….now, i wonder…would camping been easier????

I despise camping – ICK! All those bugs.. and dirt. ::shudder:: Actually, my idea of roughing it is staying in a hotel that doesn’t leave chocolates on the pillow!

That’s awesome. I remember having fun on those trips as a cub scout. I also remember how much of a learning experience it was.

I always think camping would be a good idea … until we’re finally out in the middle of no where! Nawww, in small doses it’s fun. Hope you had a good time! 🙂
