Photo Day, Live!

Now you can enjoy my Photo Day pictures! And lookie there … I finally read the manual, so I actually managed to take good close ups with my digital camera! Amazing what happens when you read the book, isn’t it?

Josh just read the book to our camera, that we too have had for a year, and found that you can adjust the flash to several different settings.

Hehe, I read the book for my SLR the day I got it – the really fun stuff was in the last “chapter.” They had a great refresher course on how to adjust the f-stop and shutter speeds to achieve different effects. Quite useful.

My digital camera, otoh … well, I don’t even know where the manual for that one is anymore. Of course, I’ve had the camera through two moves, so it was bound to happen.

One of the benefits of having a 5 year old digital camera, not as many features to have to learn. We were so addicted to our Mavica when we first bought. In fact I don’t think it’s gone a week without being used until I purchased the PenCam this year.

When I get the new camera I’ll have to have my head in the manual for a month to understand it, but it will be worth it.
