So That’s What Happened to Them!

No More Mr. Nice Guy! promises to help men break free of the “Nice Guy Syndrome.” Well, crap. THAT explains why there are no date-worthy men around, they’ve all been told to stop being nice guys! Know what I think? Nice guys ROCK. Nice people rock. Come on, let’s just love one another … [Via Blog Sisters]

Actually, I must say that I appreciate you pointing this out. I am currently in a predicament because I am such a nice guy and people just expect that I will do things without reward because I am such a nice guy. This is a major problem sometimes, and it is hard for a person of my nature to put the foot down and make demands (which I will be trying to do at work tomorrow). Nice people rock, but sometimes we don’t know when we need to stop being nice as a means to survival!

Chris, the mean guy thing might work while you’re young, but once you get older we prefer the nice guys. Really, we do.

Stu, good luck wiht the job thing – I’ve been dealing with being a meanie myself lately – I have to in order to finally get stuff done, there is no other way sometimes unfortunately…

I try to be a perfect gentleman around girls. But they just run away. They run to the guys who make THEM pay for dates and call them nasty name. It makes as much sence as the Mac OS (j/k). Oh well, I’m nice to Betsy (my main PC) and she seems to like it well. What better friend could you having in life then a beefy PC?

Here, here, three cheers for Christine! Darn straight there ladies, nice guys rule. That bad boy image just isn’t me. I like being nice for that reason…I just like it. Not to impress someone or anything else I just like being NICE! Okay, head hurts. So this raises the question, are guys ever too nice?

Tess – if pool guy isn’t showin’ the love to me, then I’m not showin’ it back to him! 🙂

Sean, I dont’ think it’s possible for a guy to be too nice. When that happens they cross the fine line from nice guy to stalker. (I’ve been through that and it’s just scary.)
