Things I Did Not Do…

There are a bunch of things I wanted to do last night, but by the time I got home I was too tired – I’m amazed I even managed to get one of the Lomo shots posted at Pixelog. (I really love how that photo came out!) So here is my list of things I did not do:

:: Send out the Evite for “H-Town Meets Beantown” on Friday, August 1st. Everyone’s invited, so if you want an Evite, get your e-mail address to me.
:: Send Erika e-mail about the event – guess I need to finalize the location before I send that Evite, huh? (Suggestions anyone?)
:: Edit my submission for Inkblots that I found out on Tuesday I could write. Tuesday to Thursday proved to not be enough time, unfortunately. Maybe next round.
:: Answer the two weeks worth of e-mail I have waiting for me. Wait, almost 3 weeks worth now.
:: Add photos to my Lomohome.
:: Fix the Blogomania webring page.
:: Fix the Blogomania Guest List.
:: Answer more e-mail.
:: Fix the CSS on some of my skins. (Hi Matt!)
:: Clean the kitchen.
:: Finish organizing my bookshelves.

Wow. I have a lot to do over the weekend! But know what I really want to do? Head to Galveston. I have a feeling some of this is just going to have to go until next week.

Are they letting non-residents back in Galveston? I’m going to my parent’s beach house this weekend and my dad said you have to show proof of residency to get on the ferry. That would not apply to Galveston, but since they had more damage than Bolivar, you might want to check before driving down there.

Good point, Trish. I thought about the debris that may still be around, but didn’t think about the possibility that they weren’t letting people on to the island. Damn, that sucks for businesses, doesn’t it? Maybe we’ll have to go to Space Center Houston or Kemah instead. (Kemah was open for business the next day, so I know that’s clear.)

Whaaaaaaaaaa, I wanna go to Kemah, too! I love it there and would love to go back someday. Since Lonnie isn’t in the Houston area anymore [obviously!], we don’t venture there as often as I’d like.

Actually, there’s still an open spot for you left in Voice if you’d like to join the party! Of course, you’re also more than welcome to join us come September.

Cheers,
Geoff
