I frogged my sock back to where I should have been doing the decreases at, carefully picked up 78 stitches, decreased down to 72 stitches, and have moved on past the point where I realized my error. Whew! Now I only have about an inch to go before I start the toe decrease. I guess I’m not going to make my original goal of having the pair done by the end of January, but they will be done in time for the JayWalking KAL deadline in February – and they will be my first pair of 2006 socks completed!
