What Huh?

I finally wrote the “What is XML? And What is RSS? Why Do I Want It Anyways?” post over at ScriptyGoddess. Please leave me a comment here if you update your feed so that I can update my news reader!

Now I’m off to add new photos to Pixelog.

I changed the RSS feed to be unlimited which took all of less than 5 seconds. Question is do I want to allow encoded html and which looks better in a PDA? I don’t have one to test here.

For grins, I checked and tested valid XHTML 1.0 Strict which makes me happy cause that means I didn’t totally screw up in my mods to the original code.

i’m at work right now so if you e-mailed me at my waterlily account i can’t check it… but i was just wondering if my feed is working for you. i don’t think i can use the MT template that’s linked on the ScriptyGoddess site because i’m on pMachine, but i looked all over the pMachine forums to see if there was any special thing that needed to be done and nothing came out at me. when you click on this you can see stuff. is it okay now?

Hi, I am REAL new to this, but I think I got my RSS feed set up right. I downloaded and am trying NewzCrawler and now I see what all the fuss is about, I had no idea that you could see the whole blog: design, graphics, and all. That is really cool. Only the first time I ever went to my blog did I have to click on the title to read more, now it always shows me the whole post. I’m excited. I’m sure I still have more to learn, but I thought I’d post here as you said. I’m having fun w/ this. Thanks for turning me on to it! 🙂 “Peace, Love, and Chicklets!”
