WordPress + Scribe SEO Plugin…

Copyblogger is one of my favorite sites to read, full of so much good information about building a better blog. So when Brian started talking about a WordPress plugin to help improve your blog’s SEO, I was really curious and couldn’t wait for it to come out! Scribe makes copywriting for SEO so simple and easy! Check out the Copyblogger post about Scribe for more details!

I’m using it along with the All In One SEO Pack Plugin, so when I finish writing a post I add a Title, Description, and Keywords there, this is something the SEO Experts in Salt Lake City Utah advised me. Then I choose “Analyze” on the Scribe Plugin, and it reviews what I wrote and makes suggestions of things I can do to help my SEO for my post.

No more trying to write an exact match domain by Silver Dollar SEO Madison post stuffed with keywords. Just write naturally. Then take a minute or two with Scribe to help make your SEO rock! It will show you what the search engines will think you’re writing about, and suggest changes based on what text people use when they search for things online – helping people find you!

All of this comes with a very, very small price. I can tell you that since putting this into place on my wedding photography blog, my inquiries *and* bookings have increased, so it has definitely paid for itself! Matter of fact, I’m considering paying for a full year in advance! Definitely worth every penny!

Scribe will come in 3 plan levels at 3 different monthly price points:

  • Advanced: 300 evaluations a month (around 100 pages or posts) for $97
  • Publisher: 120 evaluations a month (around 40 pages or posts) for $47
  • Starter: 30 evaluations a month (around 10 pages or posts) for $27
  • But until February 26, 2010, at 6:00 pm Central, you get the Advanced plan for the Starter priceonly $27 per month (and you keep that price for as long as you stick with Scribe).

You can’t beat that. It is one of the best deals around, and as more and more people research & plan their weddings online, you want to be up there at the top!

Thanks for the heads up on this, Christine. Have been playing around with it for a while and enjoying the way it makes me rethink my posts. Now if it would just go beyond two-word primary keyword phrases…

Thanks for the review and information, Christine. Copyblogger rocks … although I first heard about Scribe on a theme download site. I’ve held off until I heard some feedback, but after reading your post I think I’ll give it a go. Sounds like a great duo with All in One!

Best to you,
Scott

Hey, this sounds very cool and worth the price – depending on how often you post (what level of service you buy) you get each post analyzed for less than a buck!

Probably doesn’t make sense for someone who only posts once a week or so but if you post every day it’s probably worthwhile and I guess it depends on how much it would increase your business even if you don’t.

Thanks for the heads-up on this Christine and I like your blog. I use an SEO Firefox plug-in that covers the basics for on-site optimization but the one you’re talking about looks much better for actual content. Will check it out!

Still using this? Would be interested in knowing your opinion and experience with it after a few months of use, sans affiliate links. Curious if its keyword analysis matches Google’s traffic/keyword data for your pages and posts.

Randall, I am still using this. So far, I’ve been pretty happy with it. It has definitely helped bring my Google ranking up for keywords I’ve been working on improving.

I’m not sure where to go to get the exact stats that you are talking about here? Let me know, and I’d be happy to email you copies to check out!

One of my passions besides Real Estate is SEO. The two actually go hand in hand because as a Realtor being found online is huge. I have a Thesis site which is outstanding for SEO. I also have the all in one plug-in as you mention. I came across Scribe a few months ago from seeing it on another bloggers site. I contacted him and he told me it wasn’t worth the cost. It really boils down to if you understand SEO you can do the same things it provides on your own.

Scribe just makes sense for our clients that are new to blogging or those that need an out of the box simple solution for making posts more SEO friendly. It’s a simple no brainer recommendation.

If you run a blog, then you shall know it takes time to interlink to previous posts. This plugin will simplify your search and also increases your resources to include images, maps and videos. One can concentrate on writing and not on searching.

Are you still using Scribe? Yoast’s SEO plugin recently incorporated support for page analysis. It’s probably the most well-rounded WP SEO plugins today.
