I Like It With Seasoning…

When I visit Emily’s house and she makes popcorn, we always use her Kernel Seasons Gourmet Popcorn Seasonings. Mmmmm… Mike was going to run to the store to pick up something else he needed, and I asked him to pick some of the seasoning up too. I like the Ranch or the White Cheddar flavors, but I suggested that he might like the Parmesan & Garlic.

Being a total smartass, I then add, “Ooooh… I know… how about the Chocolate Marshmallow flavor?”

His response? “Mmmm… that sounds *really* good.”

Seriously? I mean, really? I just stared at him, stunned. Chocolate Marshmallow on your popcorn? I think I’m going to be sick just thinking about it…

How to Choose a President…

If they offered Lowercase Tees in something other than toddler sizes, I would *so* buy one for Jason. Then again, probably wouldn’t be wise as a mother to send him out in public in Texas wearing one of those. But I would want to. I would really, really want to get one for him. [via Dooce]

Although an interesting thing happened last week when I was mailing off my voter registration address change. (I almost forgot, but I have since learned I could have voted in my old precinct if I signed an affidavit.) Jason is living in a household with people that are not pro-Bush, with relatives that are not pro-Bush, and yet he was surprised the other day when I said I was going to vote for Kerry. He actually gasped. When I asked him why he thought I should vote for Bush, he couldn’t give me an answer at first, and then he told me that I should vote for him because he is the current president. It was a great opening for a discussion on how you should choose what candidate you vote for and I hope to educate him more on the candidates and their campaign platforms before the election is over.

PhotoBlog Survey…

I’m working with Jenn to come up with a slight redesign of Pixelog. Poor, poor Pixelog is sadly in need of an update, but I want to migrate it to WP first.

My question is – do you like the current design, with the smaller images and the text beside the photos – with the option to click on the image and see a larger version of the photo sometimes, or do you prefer Photoblogs with larger images such as Chromasia, Ephemera or Heather Champ?

Thank you for sharing your opinions on this!
