Coffee2code.com Plugin: Get Custom – I will fix the Pixelog site to be pretty again. I will use this Plugin to do it. (I have my fingers crossed.)

Hello? Are You My Friend?
I just finished importing my blogrolls in to WordPress. No more Blogrolling links slowing my site down.
I have my blogrolls sorted in to “Chewy Cookies” – people I have never met in person, and “Tasty Cookies” – people I have met in person. This system has worked for me for a few years. Now? Now it doesn’t seem like quite enough.
I have people that I have met in my travels, at SXSW and people that I have met here in Houston. Then there are the Tiaras, which seem to deserve a group all their own. Then there are people that I have never met in person, but they feel like old friends.
I don’t know why this bothers me. I guess it’s just one of those things. I’m not going to change things around though, because then I would feel like some people are more worthy than others. Some are within my mind, but I don’t need to share that in public. I’ll just keep it to myself.
Next comes to the issue of setting up XFN relationships. I have the option of “acquaintance” or “friend”. Sometimes it is a hard call. If I call you my “friend” does that put some sort of pressure on you? Do you have to perform to some new standard? But if I call you an aqcuaintance and you consider me a friend, is that going to hurt your feelings?
Some people are really easy to label – others aren’t. I guess that is just life.
Name That Tune…
Don’t you hate it when you don’t know the name of the song just played on the radio? Yes.net can help you out.
Time for More Testing…
I’ve also added the Subscribe to Comments feature. Feel free to test it out!
I decided to try out adding a plugin to my site, and damn, was that easy! (Yes, I had to distract myself from the frustration of my CSS issues. Grrr…) I added the WP Amazon plugin, and … bam! It works! Simply amazing. After being so used to fighting with tweaks and hacks, using the Plugin feature of WP is a breeze!
Now it’s time for a good, tasty filet to help celebrate the 4th of July!
