Ok, I Need That Arm to Drive…

I’ve seen the commercials for it, and I’ve been meaning to check it out … and I must say, I absolutely LOVE Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Love it, love it, love it! I laughed so hard through the two episodes I watched tonight – if you have never seen it, I highly recommend it!

What is it? Five gay men set out to make over a straight guy. Their comments about everything from the hair, the wardrobe, the kitchen, and the house are classic. The best part is when the guys leave and they watch the straight guy interact with his girlfriend afterwards – they walk through what he’s doing, and I laughed so hard I almost fell off the couch!

Any other Queer Eye fans out there? I know that William Ted is a fan, but I would love to hear from more. My Tivo has a new season pass to record!

Seinfeldathon…

I’ve been craving some Seinfeld. I remember the first season or two, I thought the show was terrible. I never watched it. Then somewhere along the way, I was hooked. I think I’ve seen every episode.

Finally, on Sunday I remembered to check the Tivo lineup to find out when Seinfeld is on. Turns out it’s on 3-4 times a day! Get out! So I’ve been Tivo’ing all of them. I can’t get enough Seinfeld. I need more Seinfeld!

Some of my favorite Seinfeld moments of the past few days?
– Kramer has found the Merv Griffin set and has set it up for his own show.
– Elaine just called a guy “sponge worthy”!
– George wants to be called “T-Bone”.
– Elaine is driving. Just a bit worse than her dancing!
– We meet Poppie, while Jerry dates the chick that won’t eat the pie.
– Chinese gum.

And many more. It’s funny how much of the Seinfeld lingo eventually worked it’s way in to society. Just try saying “No soup for you!” with the Soup Nazi tone. Or the sponge-worthy thing. Almost everyone knows what that means. It amuses me to no end. I love Seinfeld!

What’s your favorite episode? I just can’t decide – I can’t pick just one!

Cleaning and Grooving…

I’m listening to Rick Astley while I do some Sunday housework. Feel free to laugh, I love this CD. It makes me want to move and groove while I clean. Plus I love singing along to all of the songs.

What gets you moving and grooving when you need it? I would gladly take some recommendations!

Reloaded Review…

If you have a chance to see Matrix Reloaded on a huge IMAX screen, I highly recommend doing it. The sound was incredible, the movie was huge, it was all I expected and more. Most excellent!

I’ve discovered something rather interesting this past week. As I’ve been more of a social butterfly than normal, it seems I have nothing to say once I go to post here. I’ll think of things that I want to write about, but by the time I have a chance to stop and write, the words don’t come. It seems to be the introvert side of me revolting due to the extrovert side of me taking over in real life. Interesting, if you ask me.

Obscuration. That is my new word of the week, thanks to The Original Blurker. No formal meaning yet, I just like the concept of obscuration.

Matrix Monday!

Know what today is? It’s Matrix Monday! Why? Because at 7:05pm CST today, I will be sitting at the Edwards Marq*E Cinema here in Houston, enjoying The Matrix Reloaded on the IMAX Screen. 8 stories tall. Whoa… Party on, dude!

(Oh, come on, admit it. You think that every time you see Keanu Reeves too.)
