Now THAT is Cool!!!

Sara won a trip for two to the Country Music Awards in Nashville! How is that for cool? I wonder if she would let me tag along and carry their suitcases or something? That just ROCKS! Yeah Sara!!!

Now that is cool…

I find it pretty cool that Adam Curry, formerly of MTV fame, has a weblog. I don’t know why that amuses me, it just does. Funny isn’t it that we start to think that just because someone is famous in one way or another that they are no longer like the rest of us. I have actually traded e-mails with Paula Vaughan, one of my favorite artists, especially her cross-stitch pictures. I have this one in my bedroom, and I stitched a different one for my mom. I want to do this one someday to go with the other one in my bedroom.

you know, it totally makes sense that Adam Curry would have a weblog–i saw an MTV special a few years ago, “where are they now”. (or something like that.) Adam Curry had moved on from show biz and had started an e-business. groovy. he’s a big ole’ nethead.

thanks for posting this! I think it’s a good sign that he doesn’t (yet) mention the whole MTV is 20 thing (which, I confess, I fell prey to). But that he uses the same manilasites interface that I do is kinda weird. Does this up my cultural cache?
